The Medway League of Friends is made up of a Board of Trustees, paid staff and volunteers who provide services to the Hospital in the Leagues shop and through Hospital Radio Medway.
The Board of Trustees are seeking to appoint members of the Public to join the Board. We are keen to appoint members from the local community of Medway, to represent the diverse nature of that population and particularly those who have one or more of the following background /skills/experiences
- Younger Adult Representation
- Expertise in Finance
- Experience in Human resources
- Administration experience
- Leadership Skills
- Legal Skills
Board Meetings are held approximately every 6 weeks at Medway Maritime Hospital on Wednesday evenings 7.30pm -9.30pm. The Board is responsible for setting the Charity’s strategy/Business plan and supporting our volunteers. This is a voluntary unpaid role although appropriate expenses, i.e. for specific training or attending external meetings, will be considered.
